Question
Army Civilian - Can I complete the Training Application/Standard Form (SF) 182 if I am a Non-Appropriated Funds(NAF) employee or a Local National?

Answer

To check your eligibility to complete a Training Application, please locate the Eligibility Profile on your GoArmyEd Homepage.

Please note the following eligibility checks:

  • If any of the items in your Eligibility Profile are highlighted in RED, you are not eligible to create a Training Application.
  • If you do not have a Career Program Manager (CPM) listed in the Career Program section, it will be highlighted in ORANGE and this indicates that you are not eligible to create a Career Program or Intern Funded Training Application.
  • If you do not have a Training Manager (TM) listed in the Unit Identification Code (UIC) section, it will be highlighted in ORANGE and this indicates that you are not eligible to create a Career Program or Intern Funded Training Application.

To correct any of the information listed in your Eligibility Profile, please contact your Immediate Supervisor. Personnel information is obtained from Army Civilian Personnel System (ACPERS).   If the Training Application is approved you will be able to create an SF 182.
