Soldier/Army Civilian/DA Intern - How do I withdraw from an On-Duty class?

Answer

To withdraw from an On-Duty Class, complete the following steps:

 

Soldiers:

STEP 1: From your GoArmyEd homepage, select the “Other Links” Smart Link.

 

 

STEP 2: The Other Links screen appears. Select the plus sign beside the “On Duty Resources” link.

 

 Select the “On-Duty Enrollment Information” link.

 

STEP 3: The On-Duty Enrollment Details screen appears. Enter any On-Duty class information and select “Search.”

 

 

STEP 4: The On-Duty Enrollment Details displays a list of On-Duty classes. Select the On-Duty class you want to withdraw.

 

 STEP 5: The On-Duty Enrollment Information screen appears. Review the On-Duty class information to ensure it is the On-Duty class you want to drop.

Note: Soldiers with the rank of E-6 and below can withdraw from an On-Duty class if the enrollment status has not been confirmed. If the On-Duty class status is confirmed you will not have the option to withdraw from the class. Contact your Army Education Counselor for assistance in withdrawing from the On-Duty class.

 

Select the drop-down arrow in the “Enrollment Status” field. Select "Withdraw" from the drop-down list.

 

 

STEP 6: A “Drop Reason” field appears and you must enter the reason for withdrawing from the On-Duty class.

 

 

STEP 7: Select the “Submit” button. A window appears stating the enrollment has been withdrawn. Select the “OK” button.

 

 

 Army Civilians:

STEP 1: Select the “My Education Record” Smart Link from the Smart Links section of your GoArmyEd homepage.


STEP 2: Select the “On-duty Enrollment Management” link from the right side of the screen under the Related Links menu.


STEP 3: The On-Duty Enrollment Details page will appear. This page enables you to search for existing On-Duty Enrollments you have previously submitted.

 

Select the “Search” button.

 

STEP 4: A list of all of your prior On-Duty Class requests will appear in the Search Results table. Select the class from which you wish to withdraw.

 

 

STEP 5: To withdraw from an On-Duty class, first notify your Immediate Supervisor of your intention to withdraw from the class.After you have received approval from your Immediate Supervisor, change the Enrollment status from “Confirmed” to “Withdraw,” and enter a “Drop Reason.”

 

 

Select the “Submit” button.


STEP 6: You will receive a message stating that you have withdrawn from this enrollment. Select “OK.”
